I need some good advice because I am so depressed right now. Ok, basically this summer I was my friend Dylan the entire summer. We did everything together. We became best friends. I spent my summer with him simply because all my girlfriends went back home for the summer or the few that did stay were always either at work or with their boyfriends. I meet Dylan over two years ago in the dorms at college. At that time he use to go out with my good friend Tammy over 21/2 yrs ago. They broke after about 5 months because Dylan wanted too. Tammy is one of my best friends that I never saw this summer because of work, but mainly cause she met this guy and they are in love and she is really happy. Well in all my time of hanging out with Dylan, we eventually started to care for one another, but both of us kind of ignored because of Tammy. Well in mid-august we couldn't take it. We were falling in love and we wanted to be together. SO, we stared to date and things were wonderful between us. We decided that we were going to tell Tammy. The thing is, she Tammy and I kind of brought it up together at the same time. She asked if something was going on between Dylan and I. I didn't get to expalin eveything to her, but just that we cared for one another and that I was so sorry, that I never expected this, and that I didn't want to loose her friendship over this. She told me that she wanted me to be happy and if it was with Dylan then she was noone to stop us since she has moved on and is in love with her new man. She siad that this woulnd not ruin our friendship cause it ment to much to her, but just that she would never do this to me. This was at the begining of September. We have never talked about it since then. She still spends all of her spare time on weeknites and weekends with her boyfriend and is really busy with work and school, so we really havent' kicked it to much. I asssume it is for those reasons why I don't see her so much. She does call me, but things are kind of weird. I feel like her and I aren't friends though. Dylan and I are still together, and I am very happy with him. But it's like if I am not with I am I am doing stuff with my roommate or just random friends. I don't spend time with Tammy who was my best friend and it really upsets me. Plus lately I am beging to feel really really guilty- evne though I am so in love with Dylan.Should I talk to her about this? I just feel like I have lost friends for love. (another sadness is Tammy's 3 roommates are my other 3 bestfriends. Only one of them asks how Dylan and I are. I also never see them either because they are with boyfriends/work/school.) Hey Candy Apple sorry about your problem i sort of went through the same problem expect a little different. I had met this name Carlos and i started likeing him cause i liked how he was with me. But then i found out that he was one of my bestest friend ex boyfriend (which now she's with someone else)i asked her if she ever went out with a guy name Carlos she stayed quite and then told me what happened that he cheated on her and didn't want to be with her. So then she asked why? and how do i know about her and Carlos then i started to tell her how i met him and that i liked him and so on. After a while same like you we whould talk but it wasen't the same. We stoped talking for a while. Then we talked and she told me that she still had feelings for him and she felt wierd that i was going out with him. Just think what if you were your best friend and your bestest friend was going out with your ex?? Me and my best friend are sill best friends and NO i'm not with that guy Carlos i totally moved on.
