It is best to Prepare for the Worse and Hope for the best Policy.   Responded: Guest   This happened to me about 45 years ago.  I didn't want to get in between my best friend (the one I really loved) and her boy friend.  She also thought of me as her best friend.  She ended up marring this guy and after she had two kids and 24 years had goen by she left him.  Knowing now she never really loved him.  I ran across her name on one of those High School things on the internet and we are now the two happiest people in the world. She said to me why didn't you tell me you loved me...I always just thought you wanted to be my best friend. Anyway think about it and talk it over with her.  Its better then living a life your not happy with and if she doesn't love you at least you will know now and not wonder for years to come. We have been married for the last five years and all we can think about is why didn't we say something when we were younger. God be with you and all the luck in the world!!! Responded: Guest
